The resource will be inserted as an operational analyst in the “Product Scenario Analysis” Team of the Engineering organizational unit in Leonardo's Aircraft Division to support the activities foreseen in the GCAP program.Within the operational analysis of complex aeronautical systems or System of Systems, the domain of activity consists of all those disciplines that contribute to the definition of an aeronautical concept. The main activities consist of:* Analysis/Definition of capability requirements by incorporating and harmonizing requirements defined by the client or identified by competitor analysis;
* Definition of operational scenarios and vignettes;
* Definition of CONOPSConcept of Operation;
* Definition and analysis of the reference mission;
* Analysis / Definition of high-level requirements (Functions/Operational Requirements);
* Functional decomposition in the operational activity model;
* Definition of operational nodes and principles of data flow and connectivity;
* Analysis of alternatives (Functional allocation, CONEMP and definition of cardinal point specifications (e.G., performance, signature, requirements for mission and load carriage systems) for the definition of the aircraft concept;
* Support for the implementation of scenarios and/or operational models in synthetic simulation environments (e.G., entity characterization, threats, principles for connectivity, etc.) in close contact with system engineers and domain SMEs;
* Support for simulation and constructive analysis, definition of scenario and mission assumptions for requirements validation and subsequent analysis of results (e.G., post-processing for assessment of the operational effectiveness of concepts).**Educational Qualification:** Master's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Science.**Seniority:** Junior**Technical Knowledge and Skills:*** Experience in functional modeling of complex systems is a plus;
* Experience in SystemAnalysis and Design (Functional, SysML, Non-Functional, Requirements Mgmt for Aeronautic Engineering) is a plus;
* Knowledge of Survivability concepts for Aeronautical Engineering;
* Aeronautical systems;
* Environments for simulation and constructive analysis;
* Mission Systems (e.G., Sensors, EW, EA), Avionics, Armament, and Communication Systems;
* Basic principles andprocesses of system engineering.Skills in the following are preferred:* DOORS tool for requirements management and traceability;
* System modeling languages and Rhapsody / Cameo tools for functional modeling.**Behavioral Skills:*** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, predisposition to teamwork;
* Flexibility and highproblem-solving skills;
* Ability to analyze and synthesize complex systems.**Language Skills:**Good knowledge of written and spoken English at B2/C1 level.**IT Skills:*** Advanced knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite;
