As a protagonist in major global strategic programs, it is a technological and industrial partner for Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions, and businesses.Within the **Avionic Systems** Area, we are looking for an **Avionic Software Engineer** for our Venegono Superiore (VA) office.The resource will be inserted into the Avionic Systems operating unit within the dedicated avionic team in the IPT M-346 Block 20 and, in particular, in the Avionic Software discipline. They must be able to contribute to avionic software development activities compliant with the DO-178B/C standard, interacting with test, system engineering, and quality teams.The resource will be responsible for the following activities:* Development of avionic software in compliance with the **DO-178B/C** standard* Collaboration with the Avionic Systems team within the **IPT M-346 Block 20** program* Support for the definition, implementation, and verification of software requirements* Interface with System Engineering teams for technical alignment and specification management* Collaboration with the Test team for integration, validation, and debugging activities* Support for quality activities and compliance with applicable aeronautical processes**Education:**Preference for a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
equivalent qualifications in other engineering and scientific disciplines or a high school diploma are accepted in the case of strong and proven competence and experience in the role.**Required experience level:**2+ years of experience in SW development activities**Technical skills:*** Excellent knowledge of C/C++ and Ada95 languages* Knowledge of RTOS used in avionic environments (e.G., Green Hills INTEGRITY)* Experience in analyzing and eliciting system requirements* Definition of software requirements, architectural design, and detailed design* Knowledge of SysML/UML* Knowledge of the DO-178B/C avionic software lifecycle* Knowledge of avionic protocols/buses (e.G., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, Ethernet, TCP/IP, AFDX)* Knowledge of Git/Gitea and Serena Dimensions CM* Knowledge of Model-Based Design* Use of requirements management tools (e.G., DOORS)* Use of main IDEs (e.G., Understand, Visual Studio Code)**Behavioral skills:*** Ability to work in a team* Clear and concise communication skills* Planning and time management skills* Ability to draft technical documentation* Problem-solving, critical thinking, and results orientation* Attention to detail and quality orientation* Flexibility and adaptability to change* Proactivity and initiative* Procedural rigor and adherence to standards**Language skills:*** Excellent knowledge (B2 level or higher) of written English (all technical documentation is in this language) and spoken English**Computer skills:*** Excellent knowledge of the Office suite**Other:*** The operational area is at the LAD plant in Venegono.
