A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative technologies, called enablers, that will ensure the generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.Resources working within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.Within the **Avionic Systems** Area, we are looking for an **Avionic System Architect** for our Turin/UK office.The resource will be inserted into the Avionics Systems unit and must be able to contribute to the development, integration, and qualification activities of avionic systems for fixed-wing aircraft and ground support/integration systems. Avionic Systems include Basic Systems (e.G., Display, Communication, Navigation), Weapon Control Systems, Mission Systems, and Self-Defense/Protection Systems, embedded Training systems, as well as ground support systems.The resource will primarily be involved in:* Definition, design, integration, qualification, and support for certification and operation of avionic systems* Development of functional, interface, and HW/SW requirements for avionic systems - in line with operational effectiveness, aircraft safety, and Airworthiness requirements* System design and modeling* Support for Safety and Security analyses**Required Qualification:**Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering**Technical Skills:*** Knowledge of project engineering aspects* Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++ programming languages* Knowledge of SysML and UML methodologies* Knowledge of Model Based Design (MBD) and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles for the development of avionic systems.* Knowledge of main MBSE frameworks: MagicGrid and Harmony. Knowledge and application of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) principles.* Knowledge of Agile methodology* Knowledge of main applicable design and certification Standards (RTCA, MIL, FAA, EASA)* Knowledge of main avionic communication protocols (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, AFDX)* Knowledge of main avionic systems with particular reference to safety-critical systems* Knowledge of Open Standard and Govern Reference Architecture (GRA) oriented towards 6th generation military aircraft (Pyramid, FACE).* Knowledge of principles of functional analysis of customer requirements and subsequent definition of system specifications* Knowledge of principles of logical design of avionic systems.* Knowledge of principles of preliminary physical design and relative sizing in bulk, weight, and power of a sixth-generation weapon avionic subsystem* Ability to define requirements for avionic systems.* Ability to generate and decompose system and subsystem requirements* Participation in periodic demonstration sessions to present modeling results to stakeholders**Behavioral Skills:*** Ability to work in a team* Ability to interact with different cultures* Communication and relationship skills with clients and suppliers* Organizational and coordination skills* Planning skills* Problem solving and results orientation* Curiosity and aptitude for learning* Public speaking and meeting facilitation skills**Language Skills:**Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English**Other:**Availability for international experience for 3/5 years**Seniority:****Primary Location:**IT - Torino - C.So Francia**Additional Locations:****Contract Type:**Permanent**Hybrid Working:**
