Innovation, continuous research, digital industry, and sustainability are the pillars of its global business.Within the **Aircraft Technologies & Systems** Unit, we are looking for an **Electrical System Engineer** for our office in **Pomigliano D'Arco (NA).**The resource will carry out all activities falling under the responsibility of the Electrical System Unit regarding the definition of functional and interface architectures/requirements for electrical systems/subsystems.Specifically, the resource will:* Acquire basic knowledge related to the reference systems;
* Contribute to the development of the design and integration of the Electrical System;
* Participate in 'Equipment Engineering' activities, through the preparation of technical specifications for the acquisition of subsystems and equipment and participation in the development/qualification by suppliers up to aircraft certification;
* Analysis of electrical loads;
* Sizing of electricalmachines, conversion, and storage systems;
* Development of simulation models and power management;
* Functional and behavioral modeling of the electrical system.**Educational Qualification:** Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering**Seniority:** Junior**Desired knowledge and skills:*** Knowledge of the operating principles of AC and DC electrical machines (Brushless and non-Brushless), electrical systems, and circuits in general;
* Knowledge of power conversion systems;
* Knowledge of storagesystems (batteries, supercapacitors) and their sizing;
* Knowledge of basic and power electronics;
* Ability to understand/interpret electrical and electronic schematics;
* Knowledge of simulation tools;
* Knowledge of basic concepts on Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference (EMI/EMC) issues to support electrical/electronic design (grounding and shielding techniques, lightning protection);
* Familiarity with Model-Based System Engineering;
* Familiarity with energy management systems concepts;
* Preferable competence in the use of measuring instruments.**Behavioral skills:*** Proactive person, with the ability to interact with other company figures and potentially foreign clients;
* Problem-solving skills;
* Ability to work in national and international teams.**Language skills:**Good knowledge of written and spoken English**IT skills:*** Advanced knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, State-Flow;
* Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS tool is welcome;
