The candidate will operate within the Strategy & Innovation – Innovation Management & Technology Labs function and will support the activities of the AI.Rcraft Innovation Center (Laboratories of the Aerospace City of Turin)The main objective will be to contribute to the exploration and development of **innovative digital solutions**, adopting an Agile and Rapid Prototyping approach, and aligning the needs of the **business** and **customers** with the opportunities offered by new technologies.**Main responsibilities*** Contribute to the analysis of the **needs expressed by the business and internal Stakeholders**, translating them into concrete project initiatives.* Identify **innovation opportunities**, contributing to the evolution of the company's digital strategy.* **Identify and design** solutions related to the **Autonomy, HMI & Training** thread, using technological solutions based on **AI and deep learning*** Support the growth of **technological maturity** of developed solutions through implementation and validations, both virtual and experimental, including integration into simulation/rig validation technology environments;
* **Define the contribution within European funded projects** in the defense sector* **Continuous monitoring** of the main results in the research world, both industrial and academic, on topics related to their activities, also through **technology scouting****Education:** Master's Degree or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or other subjects related to Data Engineering & Data Science.**Required experience level (junior, expert, senior, master):** Junior, expert.**Technical skills:*** Consolidated knowledge in **AI and deep learning*** In-depth knowledge of **Machine Learning** and a solid foundation in statistics to analyze and interpret complex data.* Ability to **apply Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to real problems**, using modern tools and frameworks.* Telecommunications (TCP/IP, UDP) and network setup.**Behavioral skills:*** **Ability to understand and manage priorities** in dynamic environments.* **Orientation towards innovation** and continuous improvement* **Problem-solving** skills and a **results-oriented approach**.* Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders** at different levels.**Language skills:*** English language proficiency at least B2 level**Computer skills:*** Good command of main **programming languages** (Python, C++)* Excellent command of Artificial Intelligence tools* Experience in **data acquisition and post-processing*** **Machine Learning** algorithms, software and frameworks (e.G.
