Position

You’re a dedicated and team-oriented Senior Category/Vendor Manager who will join the Sports & Outdoor team. The role can be based in any of our EU retail locations: Madrid, Milan, Munich or Paris.

Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Category/Vendor Manager will manage a strategic Sports & Outdoor category to drive business towards the next phase of growth and will own all aspects of their category.
• You will scrutinize data to identify key brands to target, initiate and grow long‑term relationships with brands’ senior management, resolve any operational, logistical or business issues, conduct negotiations on Amazon’s behalf and manage the respective category.
• You should have experience in building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• You should have strong communication skills to represent Amazon at all executive levels of these organizations.
• You will have a deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers.
• You stay on top of industry trends, and are able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive selection, sales, and margin growth, while also improving our customer experience and education.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in vendor management, account management, negotiations or buying
• Experience with Excel
• Experience using data to influence business decisions
• Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
• Experience with business analysis and P&L management
• Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Sports Technology or Cycling industries
