Vision Systems Technical Engineer- Sales Support

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Vision Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our department's efforts by providing technical expertise and solutions on Comau’s and Third party vision systems. This position will involve collaborating closely with our proposal team, engineering team, and clients to ensure the successful integration and implementation of our vision systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the proposal team in drafting project requirements and defining assumptions and acceptance criteria.
• Define technical solutions tailored to meet client needs.
• Execute feasibility tests to validate system performance.
• Support the engineering team in system integration.
• Collaborate with the site & commissioning team to define acceptance procedures (R&R, accuracy, etc.).
• Provide on-site support as needed to assist site managers in coordinating vision system integrators.
• Develop best practices for engineering and PLC/robot programmers.
• Create standard libraries for robot/PLC integration.
• Conduct personnel training for site & commissioning teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with vision systems, preferably with one or more of the leading brands (Keyence, Omron, Cognex).
• Basic knowledge of robotics.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience in vision system programming.
• Willingness to travel for work, including medium-term assignments.
• The ability to speak other languages is considered a plus
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred; however, we highly value hands-on expertise and welcome candidates with equivalent professional experience

• Experience in PLC or robot programming.
