About the Role
The Warranty Specialist Italy, based in Milan area (onsite role) is responsible for the correct, timely, and compliant handling of warranty, recall, and field-quality operations across the Italian dealer network.
The role acts as a key point of support for dealers, ensuring that warranty decisions, campaign execution, and field issue reporting are aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.
This is a hands-on and highly collaborative position suited for a professional who enjoys problem‑solving, supporting dealer operations, and working in a fast-moving environment with both local and international teams.
Key Responsibilities
Warranty Administration & Process Management
- Review, validate, and process warranty claims submitted by the Italian dealer network, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Monitor claim trends, identify irregularities, and work with dealers to correct recurring issues.
- Apply and communicate warranty policies in alignment with European and China headquarters.
- Provide guidance to service advisors and warranty administrators on proper documentation, repair descriptions, and claim submissions.
Recalls, Service Campaigns & Field Quality
- Support the execution of national recalls and service campaigns, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and Italian regulatory requirements.
- Track completion rates, escalate delays, and coordinate corrective measures with dealers.
- Collect, structure, and report field quality findings to Engineering and Quality teams at European and China HQ.
- Assist with root‑cause analysis by consolidating technical reports, photos, and supporting documentation.
Dealer Network Support
- Serve as a daily support point for dealers regarding warranty processes, technical documentation, and campaign execution.
- Support onboarding and training of new dealers on warranty systems, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to the monitoring of aftersales KPIs, including claim turnaround time, campaign completion, and field issue reporting quality.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with local Technical Support, Parts, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure coordinated aftersales operations.
- Liaise with European and China headquarters on escalated cases, policy updates, and technical issues requiring deeper investigation.
- Provide structured feedback to help improve product reliability, customer satisfaction, and dealer performance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive aftersales, warranty administration, technical support, or related fields.
- Experience in an automotive OEM, national sales company, importer, is strongly preferred.
- Background in fast‑growing or newly established organizations is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to documentation and processes.
- Good Knowledge of Office Suite and Dealer Managemet Syestems (DMS)
- Ability to work autonomously with a hands-on, pragmatic mindset.
- Strong communication and cross‑cultural collaboration skills.
- Languages:
- Italian: professional fluency
- English: professional fluency
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy and, when required, within Europe.
