About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced XPS & Training Manager (m/f/d) to support and accelerate our global Continuous Improvement journey. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and deploying lean capabilities while driving transformation across our global operations through the Xylem Production System (XPS). You will act as a change agent, mentor and strategic partner to ensure sustainable implementation of lean methodologies and delivering measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with the local Continuous Improvement teams at our production sites in Europe, supporting as a subject matter expert. You will conduct maturity assessments, provide analytics, and ensure effective follow‑up on improvement roadmaps. You will develop and standardize lean best practices through the Xylem Production System (XPS), ensuring consistency and sustainability across the organization.
You will mentor employees at all levels to embed continuous improvement and maximize business impact. You will lead strategic transformation initiatives, collaborate with other CI leaders to share best practices, and support management teams, supervisors, and frontline personnel in building capability. Additionally, you will lead training initiatives, support the development and execution of CI strategies, and participate in supplier continuous improvement activities when required.
Travel: Up to 60% international travel

You bring a passion for continuous improvement and change management, with strong influencing skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. You combine solid business acumen, communication, and problem‑solving skills to connect customer needs with operational processes, simplify complex challenges, and drive practical solutions.
- 3–7 years of experience in a global/international business environment
- Deep expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Toyota 8‑Step)
- Strong problem‑solving and project management capabilities
- Proven experience leading hands‑on lean implementation and Kaizen events
- Track record in training, coaching, and developing others in lean methodologies
- Experience driving CI transformation within manufacturing, supply chain, and transactional/commercial processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale change initiatives in complex organizations
- Experience managing multiple international projects simultaneously
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams
- Experience applying Lean in both high‑volume and low‑volume operations
